Learn many great time and money saving tips about VBA and Excel. Here is an exerpt from our tip on Circling Invalid Data:

There are several methods to accomplish this; however, one unique way is to have Excel automatically draw a red circle around the cell if it contains an “invalid” value (as defined by the user). This method requires some Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming, as well as some familiarity with the Data Validation feature of the worksheet.
Each tip comes in pdf format with step-by-step graphics showing you how to make it work for you. You can save the pdf to your computer for future reference and share it with your colleagues.
